Who We Are

We are building an organization that will stand up to Illinois state legislators telling them that we want legislation that will get rid of the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority along with the unfair toll/tax we must pay to use our highways. Over the years, our legislators have lost all control over the very agency that they put in place during the 1950’s. It was over 50 years ago that they, our legislators, promised that these roads would be freeways once the bonds were paid off – a promise not kept. It is now time for citizens of Illinois to tell our legislators that the toll authority must go!
