Well it was quite a weekend at the Downers Grove Heritage Festival.  Hunders of folks stopped by and over 350 signed our petition.  If you haven't signed our petition yet please do, we need all the help we can get to send a message to our legislators. [click here]

Visit the NO TOLLS booth at the Downers Grove Heritage Festival. Speak with NO TOLLS and sign our petition to the state legislature to enforce the promise of paying off the bonds and removing the toll boths.   If you cannot attend you can sign our petition online.  [click here]

We just found out that the staff responsible for opening Gov. Pat Quinn’s mail forwards all toll road related letters straight to the toll authority headquarters in Downers Grove for handling. This is not what you want; you want the governor to know that you have written and that you want his support for legislation that will get rid of the toll/tax from our highways. The toll authority office will send you in response one of their public relation letters.

We suggest that you attach a “sticky note” to your letter: “Do not waste time by sending my letter to the toll authority headquarters. I want Gov. Quinn to know that I have written and that I want him to support no toll/tax legislation.”
