NO TOLLS Mission:
Give the citizens of Illinois a highway system that is toll/tax free by convincing state legislators that they must introduce and support legislation that would meet this goal.

We’re not fooling anyone; it will likely take 12 to 18 months to get to full speed and another five or six years to reach our goal. We can’t believe that our membership won’t reach into the thousands after word gets out that we are around - we already have many good prospects. The rest will come from announcements in the media, this website and one-on-one contact at events such as the Chicago Auto Show, at city and town festivals and from billboards overlooking the toll roads.

Members of No-Tolls-Illinois will take every opportunity to hammer away with letters and phone calls to their state senators, state representatives and other influential members of government. Most legislators use a formula knowing that for every letter/phone call they receive, there is another 25 to 30 constituents in his or her district wanting the same legislation.

We need your help and hope that after you read the other pages on this website you will want to join our campaign. Let us know how you feel, but please don’t say that we don’t have a chance and that getting rid of the toll/tax in Illinois is impossible. The only thing about “impossible” is that it will take us a little longer – however, we will succeed.
